I want to share with you excerpts from a wonderful article on the topic "do's and don'ts for pregnant women". I found her here . Adequate view and useful advice.
Food
The point of food is to give the child useful substances for development, but not to build up too much fat. And the whole trick is that if you do not eat enough, then the baby will not suffer. It was for this that nature gave a woman a large fat layer and deposited it on her hips - this is an energy depot for bearing a child. Even in years of famine, a woman remains able to endure and give birth to a healthy child.
However, he will do this at the expense of his mother. Skin tone will decrease, breasts will sag, teeth will crumble, hair will come out ... So the choice is not great:
1) malnourished and peeled off,
2) overeat and become obese,
3) try to find a compromise between 1 and 2, but it's damn hard ...
By no means eat more! Eat the same amount or even less, but good food. Remove all chips/cookies/gas water. If you eat well, you may even get by without taking vitamins. Green lettuce is an excellent substitute for folic acid in the first trimester, cottage cheese and cheese will help with the supply of calcium to the body, fish will give fatty acids. The only thing that I could not replace with anything was the lack of iron at 32-34 weeks. Well, toxicosis is naturally an exception. For example, during my first pregnancy, I lived on cookies and raw carrots for a couple of months ... Secondly, I can’t look at fish, so I take omega3. If there are swelling, then you will have to reduce / exclude salt.
Beverages
I am very critical of drinks even without pregnancy. Water, tea, coffee, low-fat milk and kefir are all I drink. The rest I consider harmful to any organism, whether pregnant or not.
BUT! As one of my trainers said, what is harmful is also useful! No one died from a glass of soda a week, the main thing is not every day! Coffee, too, should not be abused - although the placenta is a very powerful filter that passes (but retains harmfulness) everything that goes to the child through itself, it has still been proven that mothers who abuse coffee (and alcohol) give birth to babies with less weight. This does not mean that it should be completely excluded, that it is not necessary to abuse it.
Alcohol is a slightly different story. Although no, the story is the same, but purely psychologically, it’s more terrible for me personally. In principle, with my brain, I understand that 100 grams of red wine can’t particularly hurt ... But if something goes wrong with the child (even though alcohol has nothing to do with it), I will never forgive myself for these 100 grams.
Medications
If something is prescribed to me, but I do not agree with the doctor / do not understand why, then I will not drink. Magne-B6 was prescribed almost at 18 weeks. She started drinking only on the 30th, when she began to cramp her legs. The same thing with kanefron - only when edema appeared. Though preventive doctors like to prescribe.
Again, you should not be afraid of medicines like fire, maybe they will help you bear the child. And the placenta is a very reliable barrier to protect the baby. But! So that you are not discharged, do not blindly trust doctors - read the instructions, see reviews about the drug on the Internet. Doctors are human too and can make mistakes.
Dream
In the first trimester, this is usually not true. You can sleep on your stomach as long as it is comfortable for you. When the stomach begins to interfere, then the back and two sides are left to choose from. Then the stomach becomes even larger, because of this, the back deflection usually increases and it becomes uncomfortable to sleep on it, and not very useful.
In the third trimester, the weight of the tummy will interfere with important vessels to supply the baby with oxygen and it will remain possible to sleep and only on the left side, surrounded by pillows. It is convenient to put one between the legs, or under the right leg, one under the tummy. You can buy a feeding pillow in advance (the one with balls inside is good) and use it (it will lie at one end between the legs, the other under the stomach), it is good to put it under the lower back when you are resting in a half-sitting position. While resting, it is good to raise your legs to drain fluid from them.
Sport
In the first trimester, without the absence of contraindications, you can do the same. In the second, reduce the load, and if you are doing something where it shakes a lot)))), then exclude it altogether. Yoga and swimming are the best during pregnancy. Relaxes wonderfully.
Cloth
Clothing should not be too tight. Hoodies are also not a solution - the stomach may not be so visible in them, but you often look like a cow. Oddly enough, it is better to wear non-pressing clothes in a slip-on. Yes, the belly will be noticeable, but in general the view is better.
You yourself will understand when the time comes to take off your heels - it will be hard to walk and your feet will start to swell. In addition to flat soles, there are other problems:
1) the size of the leg increases (due to weight, swelling),
2) at a later date, it is hard to squirm for a long time with laces / fasteners. So you might have to buy some crappy tops for a bigger size. And they usually don’t go well with dresses and skirts, so the first clothes for pregnant women are special jeans and trousers.
They come in two types - with a fastener under the tummy (they didn’t fit me, very uncomfortable, I wore it only in the first trimester and very little) and with a wide knitted strip that is worn over the bellies (I love these). True, there are also ordinary trousers with a soft wide elastic band in the waist that can be worn in the first trimester. When choosing sweaters, it is better to take knitwear an order of magnitude longer than you usually wear, otherwise it will ride up on the belly or tunics with drapery in front.
linen
With underwear, I had a complete ambush. Everything that I bought during pregnancy was not suitable for feeding (due to the size of the cups). Conclusion - do not buy a lot of special bras until you give birth, it is unrealistic to guess with the size! You can get by with regular pitted cotton ones that provide good support and don't squeeze too much. I also used sports tops.
And attention - it’s better not to go without a lifon! At all! The chest increases, the skin stretches, if not supported, then stretch marks will appear and the chest may sag under its own weight. So we woke up in the morning - we immediately put on a bra, compression stockings ... ..)))
Conclusion number two - if the denyuh is full and you still decide to buy in advance - do not take a lot of white ones. Due to the frequent leakage of milk, they have to be changed and washed three times a day, which is why all whites turned gray after a month of feeding. And since I was not shy about feeding in public places, but I was shy about faded bodices, they were also thrown away before the end of their service life.
I tried pants for pregnant women and regular ones - at first (the first two trimesters) there was no difference - it was convenient in everything. In the last one, the same garbage - no difference, because. interfere with any! Those that are under the belly are not comfortable for me, that they are dressed on the belly - they constantly roll down.
Pantyhose for pregnant women are now in all pharmacies, they are needed in the 2nd-3rd trimester, because. they have a tummy pocket in the front and come with compression against swelling and varicose veins. Of course, you won’t buy woolen ones there, but in winter you can save yourself with ordinary woolen tights that are a size larger dressed ... backwards))) You can also save yourself from edema and varicose veins with compression stockings. For me, the theme of tights / golf is very relevant, because. edema appeared unexpectedly, and while I was thinking what to do with them, I got stretch marks on my legs. That is, it is not necessary to gain a lot of weight during pregnancy, swelling is enough for a couple of evenings ((((
Bandage
The bandage should be put on as the tummy appears. Even if it seems like it's too early. The logic is the same as with the chest - the skin is stretched. Wearing a bandage will help to avoid stretch marks. When the tummy grows, the bandage helps the back carry this weight. When the pelvic bones diverge, the bandage is put on a little lower (at the level of symphasis). The bandage must be comfortable, it should not press anywhere! Not a single bandage with panties came up to me, but a long elastic belt with Velcro helps a lot.
Cosmetics
Cosmetics - throw pamadors, but I'm terribly amused by pregnant women who abruptly refuse everything and go a la naturel. I don't understand what is the meaning... In my understanding - you can paint your nails, hair - too, face - you need to! Well, it won’t reach Lyalka in any way, by God.
Well, it will be absorbed through the skin into the blood, so the blood of the mother and child does not mix! We are not talking, of course, now about such things as Botox or Restylane. They even refused to do laser and photoepilation due to pregnancy. In the spa center on the Dead Sea with some kind of foot massage in the third month I was sent (but I consider this too much). But last Friday, some crazy masseuse fucked me with a cupping massage at the 9th month ... lymphatic drainage type ...
Well, must have
- a good day cream with a high SPF factor (in pregnant and lactating women, due to hormones, the risk of skin pigmentation increases, so of course you can continue to go to the solarium, vitamin D and all that, only then do not ask how to whiten the skin).
- night lifting cream - the face also gets better / swells, the skin on it stretches, that is, it can hang, nasolabial folds can erupt after childbirth.
- a good cream or oil for stretch marks.
Preparation
My philosophy is that nothing special needs to be done. In a woman, by nature, everything in itself is intended for pregnancy, childbirth and raising offspring, so I consider cooking, for example, nipples, complete stupidity. Nowhere in the animal world do you see a female warming up with a waffle towel.
In addition, animals do not feel pain during childbirth (except for pathological cases). They say that for this you need to learn to completely relax (seers, reed), then yoga and a pool to help. My life beliefs do not allow me to stretch my vagina - some kind of nonsense. Although I try to do Kegel exercises as much as possible.
