What to read to children. V. Vorobyov. Caprice.

This is a very cute book that my mother used to read to me when I was a child. In fact, very few people know this book. And you, dear reader, who came to our site, most likely belong to the cohort of the elite. Vladimir Ivanovich Vorobyov is a Permian writer, and his works are mostly known to the inhabitants of the Kama region and people from there.

"Caprice" by Vladimir Vorobyov is an instructive tale written in a humorous style for children of preschool and primary school age. Its main character is a little boy Kaprizka, who settles next to the children and whispers various dirty tricks in their ears: “Don’t listen to your grandmother”, “Don’t eat porridge”, makes you act up, cry and behave outrageously. It is very instructive to talk about what can happen to children who behave in this way. read about raising children with a fairy tale on our website.

The book was first published in 1960, and a cartoon based on the fairy tale was made. S.Mozhaev's illustrations, in my opinion, are the most colorful and believable.

Chapter 1

CAPRISE AND PAVLIK. FIRST MEETING

Pavlik woke up and immediately saw a little man, as tall as a cat.
He sat on the back of Pavlikov's bed and dangled his legs.
His hair stuck out in all directions. The face and hands are dirty, dirty. The shirt came out of the pants, and they were put on backwards. Pavlik said:
- How funny you are!
Who are you? “I am Caprice,” the little man squeaked and stared with round eyes.
- Where did you come from?
- I ran away!
- Ran away?
From whom? The caprice did not answer.
He said: - Come on, Pavlik, be friends with me.
- Let's.
What are we going to do? Caprice cautiously looked at the door and suggested:
- Just listen to me in everything.
You'll see how fun it will be. At that moment, the door opened and Grandma entered.
Caprice imperceptibly darted under the bed. "Time to get up," Grandma said.
Pavlik wanted to obey, but Kaprizka squeaked softly from under the bed:
“Say: I don’t want to!”
Pavlik said:
- I don't want to!
- That's some news! Grandma was surprised. – Are you sick? She touched his forehead and said, “You are well. Get up. Do not be fancy.

My youngest son is already over 20 years old, and I myself read this book when I was much younger than him, and then I read it to my children, I hope I will read it to my grandchildren, because this book is surprisingly attractive. I thought that it was found only in the Kama region, but to my surprise I found it translated into Ukrainian in one of the libraries of Chernigov. But I like the Perm edition more, maybe because it is from my distant youth. And the cartoon with the same characters is just wonderful. I wish all young parents to read this wonderful, surprisingly fascinating and instructive book with their children.
