Albert Krimler, creative director of Akris, wants the deep autumn and winter of 2016 to be as bright as golden autumn, and offers women outfits in all shades of red. Orange is in the spotlight, but lilac, raspberry, eggplant, and tones somewhere in between play important roles. Thanks to animal prints - leopard and other cat, turtle and zebra - it's easy to guess where Albert Krimler got his ideas from. Before taking up the job, he traveled around Africa, Kenya and Tanzania. He was struck by the landscapes, flora and fauna, the culture of the natives.

As energetic as ever, but just as concise
Akris fall/winter 2016 is quite possibly the most striking collection of the Swiss brand. At the same time, neither in color, nor in patterns, nor in styles there is even a drop of congestion. It's all the same instantly recognizable elegant minimalism. These are things that a woman wears, remaining herself. Here is what Albert Krimler said in an interview: “I think that the worst thing is when a woman enters and you first pay attention to her clothes and only then to herself. That's not what I should be doing." You can say this: Akris clothes do not make better, they emphasize the best. An excellent example is the images of Amal Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Princess Charlene - they are longtime clients of the brand. Yes, it is made for strong women.

Although it has a lot of animal prints, which is one of the main trends of today's fashion in general, they are not a copy of natural ones, both in terms of patterns and colors. Here is what Albert Krimler says: “Obviously, the Akris woman should always look a little different. So I created my own zebra prints, turtle prints, cheetah prints, and other cat prints." Note that in this collection there are not only images of the texture of fur, but also photographs of wild animals.

- embroidery, as if imitating cracks in the dried earth;
- scales and fringes, referring to the outfits provided to reptiles and mammals by the most important fashion designer in the world - nature;
- knitted and woven patterns that imitate Maasai jewelry.
The styles are also inspired by the clothes of the representatives of this tribe. While most of the cut is modern, there are pieces that simply wrap and drape or have a wrapped and draped look. The predominant shapes are trapezoids and rectangles, the lengths are midi and maxi.
It is worth saying a few more words about gamma. As noted, red is the most in it: “Red is the thread of Ariadne that takes us out of the labyrinth,” notes Albert Krimler. However, there was little room for black and gray, including those striving for white. Perhaps this refers to the mountains, perhaps even to Kilimanjaro itself.
