Business style for women

How to dress a business woman? What is allowed and what is strictly prohibited? In order to understand this rather interesting issue, it is important to understand the basic rule for yourself: the appearance of an office employee is a business card of the company!

Business attire for women is based on not drawing much attention to her appearance. And this is easily explained - after all, clients, partners and colleagues should be focused on business during work, and nothing should distract them from it. But this does not mean at all that you need to dress like a “gray mouse” or completely abandon makeup. The appearance should be solid, neat, but the woman should remain a woman. So, a small cheat sheet on the topic of business clothes.

In no case should you strongly emphasize your sexuality. And this means that clothes should not be too open, even in summer. Deep cuts, slits, necklines, miniskirts are not acceptable. The length of the skirt should be a palm's width above or below the knee. By the way, too long skirts are also not recommended, as in this case they draw too much attention to certain parts of the woman's body. Be sure to wear tights. They should be noticeable so that the legs do not seem bare, even in summer. Sleeves should not be puffy or very short, shoulders must be closed.

Features of the business style of clothing for women

Fabrics should be selected in neutral textures and colors. Flashy tones, bright patterns, sparkles are not allowed. You should not use velvet, brocade, tight-fitting knitwear, too light transparent fabrics in clothes. Suits and blouses made of quality fabrics in moderate tones are considered good form. In the form of patterns, a narrow strip, a discreet cage looks good. But not provoking elements that distract attention. Under the same suit, you can wear different blouses - this will give liveliness and variety to the image, and will allow you not to look the same all the time.

Pants should be elegant, strict cut. Not too wide and not too narrow. Women's capris are also not considered business attire - they are more suitable for holidays. A business dress of a restrained tone will always be appropriate. Jeans and leather clothes are completely excluded - that's the least suitable for the concept of "business style"!

Shoes must be black, dark brown, navy blue, gray or beige. An open heel is allowed in summer, but not open toes. Medium length heel. Shoes should be in harmony with the color and general character of the clothing.

Hair must be perfectly styled if the haircut is long. Very short and extravagant haircuts are not allowed, as well as loose hair. Too lush hairstyle will also have to be demonstrated somewhere at a party, and not in the office.

Decorations are allowed inconspicuous, in small quantities. You can wear a chain, but only one. Rings - one on each hand. No extravagance! Piercing, bracelets, everything ringing and dangling are excluded. It is not recommended to combine silver and gold, and in general - less jewelry.

The make-up is discreet, but speaking of a well-groomed woman: an even, inconspicuous face tone, neatly shaped eyebrows, soft lipstick and shadows. Forget about wide eyeliner and 10 times larger eyelashes - go to the disco with this. Perfume - barely noticeable and only those that definitely suit you.

However, not everything is as severe as it seems! There is such a thing as "free-friday" - on Fridays, some relaxation in the business dress code is allowed. Add some freedom to the image, but remember - an office is an office.
