Yogurt fasting day - health and body benefits

The problem of excess weight is very relevant in the expanses of the former CIS, but, unfortunately, we do not have a culture of proper weight loss. Many women and girls starve themselves, exhaust themselves with diets that bring them to the state of the skeleton. It is not always possible to find time and money for systematic trips to the gym, and few people know how to do it right ...

Therefore, diet correction, taking into account the kilocalories eaten and proper nutrition, including fasting days for weight loss , are presented in the light of the foregoing as the most optimal weight loss scheme for the domestic people.

Today we will talk about how to make homemade yogurt for a fasting day.

The whole problem of making yogurt at home lies in the fact that for a rather long period of time it is necessary to maintain a certain temperature regime. If you do not have a modern special device - a yogurt maker, this is not easy to do.

For quite a long time and successfully, albeit in small volumes, I managed to cook yogurt in a thermos , but when a small live-throat appeared in our family, the question of purchasing a yogurt maker became more acute.

I remembered that a monstrous device called a hotter - an air grill has been gathering dust in the closet for a long time. I did not find a use for it at the time, but judging by the instructions, you can also cook homemade yogurt in it.

And today our article is devoted to how to cook homemade Narine yogurt in an air grill.

The initial source of information was a collection of recipes for aerogrill. There is an entire chapter devoted to how to make yogurt. But all the recipes collected there, as well as those that I managed to find on the open spaces of the global network, were only suitable for liquid sourdough. I had bags with dry sourdough "Narine", so I had to improvise.

The recipes describe two stages - the preparation of the sourdough and the preparation of the yogurt itself. The first stage, respectively, I missed, and went straight to the second.

So, you will need an air grill, 1-2-3 liters of milk, based on the instructions on the package, 1 bag of "Narine" and fruit or jam as desired. In principle, fruits can also be added to ready-made yogurt. I made one jar of “clean” yogurt, one of currant.

Stages of making homemade yogurt from Narine sourdough in an air grill.

1. Sterilization of jars. You need to choose jars such that when the air grill lid is closed, at least 2-3 cm remains to the fan grate, otherwise when you boil milk, it will burn to the grate, which, in fact, happened to me safely. Sterilize jars on the lower rack for 20 minutes at high speed and maximum temperature. Let the jars cool down a bit. If you pour cold milk into hot jars, they will burst. Checked.

2. Pasteurization/heating of milk. If you buy milk in the store (pasteurized), there is no need to boil it, it only needs to be brought to a temperature of 37-40 degrees Celsius.

If the milk is homemade, it must first be boiled to “kill” excess bacteria. Milk should be boiled in the same way as sterilization: on the lower grate for 20 minutes at high speed and maximum temperature.

Remove the foam from the milk.

And then cool to a temperature of 37-40 degrees Celsius. Why is it so important to monitor the temperature at which you will add the starter. Because in hot milk, all beneficial bacteria will die without multiplying. Consider - money down the drain!

3. Next, pour dry sourdough into jars, dividing the contents of the bag proportionally. Add fruit or a spoonful of jam.

4. We put the banks on the lower grate. Lids may not be closed. In some recipes, write "cover with plastic lids", in others it is emphasized "do not close with lids." In general, I did not close, and everything turned out with a bang! We put on the magnifier ring and leave the lid slightly ajar, by 2-3 cm.

Cook yogurt for 8 hours at low speed and the lowest temperature (65 degrees).

Refrigerate for 2 hours after cooking. You can store yogurt in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days, but the sooner you “exterminate” it, the better. After all, every day the number of "live" bacteria in it decreases. You can leave part of the yogurt for re-fermentation at the rate of 2 tbsp. spoons for 0.5 liters of milk.

For one fasting day, you will need 0.5 - 1.5 liters of homemade yogurt. For weight loss, it is advised to consume no more than 1.5 liters of low-fat drinking yogurt, or 500 grams of thick yogurt. Also note that "empty" yogurt is lower in calories. Therefore, if you add fruits during cooking, then reduce the total dose of the product.

If eating one yogurt during the day makes you afraid, supplement your diet with light fruits and foods - baked apples, dried fruits, cheese. During the day, you can and should (!) Drink plenty of fluids, herbal infusions and teas, mineral water, decoctions of raisins, rose hips and dried fruits are good for cleansing the body and removing toxins.

Having arranged at least one yogurt fasting day a week, you can easily keep yourself in shape, and you will do your own health a huge favor. And if you combine fasting days with a little physical exercise, then everything will be okay for you - and a wasp waist , and a taut butt, and both have good digestion.

I have never made yogurt in an air fryer. I thought that only yogurt makers can be used for this. Great recipe!
