Wet make-up, bangs stuck to the forehead and swollen legs in shoes that suddenly became tight ... This is a portrait of an average city resident on a hot summer day. Everyone would like to spend the hottest time of the year on the seashore or at least in the country, but, unfortunately, many are forced to stay surrounded by hot concrete and asphalt in the summer. Women are especially hard on the inconvenience associated with the heat, as at this time their appearance worsens.
What can be done to look fresh and attractive despite the scorching rays of the sun?
Time to check out your makeup bag!
In summer, problem areas of the skin become much more difficult to mask. A thick layer of thick foundation, which helped out in winter, can now only do harm. It looks just awful on sweaty skin, and inflammation can occur due to clogged pores. Therefore, all you can afford is a thin layer of water-based cream. Or light powdering - high-quality powder removes the “gloss” well and does not clog pores. If you do not apply it too thickly, then the face will look natural.
All skin toning products can be divided into two groups - yellowish and pink. In the cold season, it is better to use “pink”, but “yellow” is good in summer. If you want to look tanned, and there is no time to take sunbathing or they are contraindicated, then you can use powder with a bronzing effect.
It is best to avoid concealers altogether during the heat, applying only a day cream with sunscreen properties. But, if there are noticeable cosmetic defects like circles under the eyes, then light toning is acceptable. Only in this case, you need to abandon the blush, otherwise, after a few sunny days, a “blush on the contrary” will appear on the face, that is, white areas of untanned skin on the cheeks.
A person in hot weather should be given maximum attention. It is necessary to regularly remove dead skin cells with the help of scrubs and film masks and use moisturizing and nourishing masks (the frequency of these procedures depends on the type of skin and its condition). Every evening, the face should be thoroughly cleansed of makeup and impurities.
Learning the right way... to sweat
Most people are aware of the difference between antiperspirants and deodorants. The former "lock" the pores and prevent sweat from escaping, while the latter simply mask its smell. It would seem that the first option is preferable - there will be no smell, no wet circles on the clothes.
But using antiperspirants is not safe: stagnant secretions in the sebaceous glands sometimes cause inflammation.
You can reduce the risk of complications by following the rules for the use of these funds: • apply to a washed and dry body;
• wash off after 7–8 hours;
• give the skin a rest (leave it clean) for at least 4 hours after using the antiperspirant.
An alternative to sprays and stickers is powder made from talc and lanolin. It needs to be powdered on clean and well-dried skin. Acting as an antiseptic, it will inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause bad breath.
The best way to help get rid of the smell of sweat and feel cheerful is a contrast shower. But the majority of people cannot afford this luxury during working hours, and the sweat pours in streams all day. Excellent "allies" in the fight against it will be wet wipes with an antibacterial effect.
We exclude from the diet "heavy" dishes and sweet drinks!
The sweat of a person who is illegible in food has a particularly unpleasant odor. Of course, in the forty-degree heat, the vast majority of people lose their appetite, but the air conditioners “prescribed” in the premises often drown out the instinct that forbids a person to load the body struggling with the heat by digesting large portions of food. Fried meat, mayonnaise-drenched salad, a couple of sandwiches with smoked sausage and a cream cake - such a dinner will not add strength, but, on the contrary, will take away the latter. An exhausted body will have great difficulty digesting such “goodies”, and as a result, drowsiness and an apathetic appearance will appear. And if the “hellish mixture” is also poured with a glass of soda, then a strong thirst will appear. The “reward” for such carelessness will be swollen legs and face, a terrible state of health and a nasty smell of sweat that no perfume will drown out.
It is necessary to choose dishes containing a minimum amount of ingredients, then they will be easier to digest, and fewer toxins will “settle” in the body. On hot days, it is better to give up alcohol, coffee, sweet fruit juices and cocktails (soda has already been mentioned). Drink plain or mineral water, green tea, natural kvass, berry fruit drinks without sugar. Such a diet will not only help to survive the heat more easily, but also save a couple of extra pounds.
Summer is a great time, with the brightest and longest days. To look fresh and feel easy, you need to take care of yourself a little more than usual, and the result will be obvious in the literal sense!
